Bag of Seeds 06:12
Bag of Seeds I have a bag of seeds And I’m gonna plant And ain’t no coming back With something in my hands No time to search now Where they have all gone Where they all belong now Is none of my thoughts I once met a young man He told me I was a fool To give and not to take It’s a game you lose An old woman gave me then Her two-cent advice “you’ll regret everything when one of them dies” Keep going on No matter what Keep giving Everything that I’ve got Sweet is the fear Of not taking back Hard is the tear For some seeds in a bag I won’t shed a tear

Pinch of salt I’ve been a while a wolf Cleaning up the streets ‘till dawn I’ve had people bound together Trying to keep what is meant to be lost Melting ice in hands I’ve been an owl then Sharing stories and a pinch of salt with everyone Trying to reach for that only heart That was so busy and enchanted by words Now by chance I just want you I just want to dance In the cave of loneliness I’ve been sleeping as a bear With my belly full of hungry bees And a jar of honey that I could not give to you Look the two hands of a clock One is moving while the other one is still Now you tell me ‘cause I have no clues Who is following who Who is following you Now by chance I just want you I just want to dance

Down by the river There’s a place I used to go Down by the river, down by the river There are shadows we all know Down by the river, down by the river Grows a rose and every thorns Down by the river, down by the river of my soul Just like a river I’m gonna reach the sea I’m gonna dive in Sure, I can be poisoned But I’m not giving in So I run and flow Shines a light even at night Down by the river, down by the river The sinking me is still alive Down by the river, down by the river Just sit by the shoreline Down by the river, down by the river of my soul Just like a river I’m never the same Never again Yesterday is nowhere And tomorrow I’ll be on my way So I run and flow

New Sun 06:25
New Sun Do you remember me? I was facing your love So scared on that cliff Yet I couldn’t wait longer to dive in I do remember when I saw you for the first time How you cried that tears And suddenly I was on your side My unfolded eyes Kissed by the rain of forgiveness We played no fancy love tricks I just picked up a sparkle From your wake And when I held it A new sun was born A brand new star to lead my way We so new But anyway I knew you Long before that day And you felt it right through your bones How come the flower grows And fruit’s ready to fall And the wind gently blows When you don’t need more? All of that hangin’ around Looking for a reason You brought me the message I was waiting for: “Hey there’s still some hope!” And when I got it A new sun was born A brand new star to lead my way

On a couch 03:29
On a couch I was born to see Touch and grab I wanted to know the furthest things on earth Straining my eyes Invain Even though I knew Invisible is the wind Then came a time Fast as razor blade It cut my hands and eyes I fell down on my knees In the dark so thick It took the fire of all my dreams just to admit it That I was asked now to dig Into that very black of mine That ancient womb And then again I knew

Those who 05:29
Those who For those who want to leave Ain’t no safe cages For those who want to stay Ain’t no call of the wild For those who want fight Ain’t no trivial details For those who want just peace Ain’t never big enough I still don’t know, What am I looking for? Do I? Or maybe I’ve just found A backdoor in my mind And it’s not who’s right – who’s right? And it’s not who’s right – who’s right? But when And it’s not who’s wrong – who’s wrong? And it’s not who’s wrong – who’s wrong? But where For those who need to stay I’ll be your chair For those who need to leave I’ll be your steep slope For those who need some peace I’ll be your open door For those who need to fight I’ll be your stiff guard I still don’t know, What am I looking for? Do I? Or maybe I’ve just found A backdoor in my mind And it’s not who’s right – who’s right? And it’s not who’s right – who’s right? But when And it’s not who’s wrong – who’s wrong? And it’s not who’s wrong – who’s wrong? But where

Bluesette 04:02
Bluesette I got a demon On my shoulder And a devil Just behind me I’ve got to run Fast as I can Overnight ‘till the day will came So please gimme shelter Let me in five minutes then I'll go My own demon Brings the dark Regardless the time nor the weather He drains every heat And every light Just with a looking of those eyes So please gimme shelter Let me in five minutes then I go Oh baby baby won’t you please let me in My own devil Swallows all my memories wipes my steps Off the way Blind and lost I’d freeze and hide So I must leave it all behind So please gimme shelter Let me in five minutes then I go Oh baby baby won’t you please let me in

For Us 04:20
For Us I am nobody And here I come I’m feeling tired Of things to come Don’t want to leave you Don’t want to go It feels like I don’t care about you But that’s not true ‘Cause I need nobody but I choose you to share this burden to tell the truth and reach home lastly but not too soon All that I’ve had All that I’ve tried This sun is chilling me And is way too high So hear my words This what we’ll do We’ll go the deepest Where things are true All bonds and shackles We’ll throw away Then if together We still remain With each other hours We’ll make a day

about

BOA Padua, Italy

Boa, is a songwriter who has explored various genres from punk, folk, jazz, to soundtracks for cinema, hip hop, reggae and more. Bag of seeds was meant as a tribute to Leonard Cohen but inevitably the seeds sprouted and so the music went in many different directions. The album was played, conceived and arranged all in one room, a solitary crossing of a couple of weeks. ... more
